I have not actually had a Jeep 300 and a Jeep 20 apart at the same time to check and compare the dimensions of the shift rails, shift slots, etc. but I imagine that they are very similar. I've only done it with a dana 300, but a dana 20 should be about the same. To get the interlock out you. need to pretty much disassemble the whole case. You need to remove both shift rails from the shifter. housing (the piece that contains the front output shaft's front bearing race).

If I try and go from 4 HI to N on the front, it pulls the rear out of 2 HI. Great pics. I twin sticked my T150/D20 setup on my 79 CJ5 and had to trim a little out of the floor pan. When I changed my tranny to a T18, I ended up triming a little more.
